From demolition to final certificate of occupancy, we manage the rebuild.

Some commercial losses go beyond restoration. When fire, structural failure, flooding or storm damage leaves a building unsafe or unusable, repair isn’t enough, the property needs to be rebuilt from the studs up under a licensed general contractor who understands both construction and code compliance.

Larson Construction Management has led commercial reconstruction projects throughout Daytona Beach and Volusia County since 1986. We manage the entire rebuild, demolition, structural work, systems and finishes, as a single point of accountability so property owners aren’t coordinating multiple contractors on their own.

We work directly with your insurance adjuster, structural engineers and local building officials throughout the process, keeping permitting, documentation and inspections on track so your reconstruction moves forward without unnecessary delays.

Frequently Asked Questions

Commercial reconstruction questions, answered.

What’s the difference between restoration and reconstruction?

Restoration repairs and returns a damaged property to service. Reconstruction is a full rebuild, used when damage is severe enough that repair alone isn’t possible or code-compliant. Larson Construction Management handles both, and can move a project from restoration into full reconstruction if the scope changes.

Who handles permitting on a reconstruction project?

We do. As your licensed general contractor, Larson Construction Management manages permitting and inspections with local building officials throughout the project, so you don’t have to coordinate that separately.

Will you work with my insurance adjuster and engineer?

Yes. We coordinate directly with your insurance adjuster and any structural engineers involved, keeping documentation and scope aligned so the rebuild proceeds without avoidable delays.

What types of commercial buildings do you reconstruct?

We reconstruct a wide range of commercial buildings, including retail, office, industrial and mixed-use properties, throughout Daytona Beach and Volusia County.
